Heartbreaking
Obviously, the more people are strained economically the more likely they are to reach out to charitable organizations for assistance. 220South has a heartbreaking post on how the current economic recession has affected local food pantries in Martinsville/Henry County. Read and donate.

Martinsville and Henry County are in need of those who walk the second mile, give shirt and coat, and turn to help our companions on the road of life. It is within our grasp to help. There are many agencies that assist those in true need, Grace Network, One Accord Food Bank, Catholic Relief and others have assisted in the past and still do, but these need us all now, more than ever before, to give a little or a lot to help our brothers and sisters in true need.
