Self-reflection

I am going to be in DC all day until very late, so I won't be able to bring you some blogging goodness today. But let's not let that get in the way of our overall productivity.

Dem Bones has been active for about a month now and its readership is growing. Let's take the time to do some quick self-reflection in order to strengthen this community. What is working well? What not so much? What would you like to see more of? What less of? Or, are there any topics you would like to see discussed here?

Be constructive, and please drop a quick comment.

There is an old adage: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

I love this blog and read it daily. Yes, I have known Drew for some time, but he well knows kissing ass is not my strong suit.

If this project sucked, I would be the first to say so. But man have I been pleasantly surprised.

There are those who demand God in politics totally and those who reject God in politics totally.

While I am closer to the latter than the former, this blog offers a dialogue that can bring both sides closer to a middle ground.

I'm going to disagree with Drew more than I agree on this issue, but the forum is civil, proper, and necessary.

I predict only good things for Dem Bones and at this time I would not change a thing.

Love the blog Drew. I have been discussing these issues with you for a long time (some of them for the last 14 years or so). The only advice I would have for you would be to not worry about pissing people off. Sometimes pissing people off is healthy. Just say what you think, sir.

Who's like us? Damn few and they're all dead. Cheers to Dem Bones.

I also read this blog daily, along with several others. I have not known Drew for 14 years, but what I have seen and heard from him I know that he is open to discussion. I hope the blog will continue and that we in the Northern part of VA-5 will get to know Drew and all the regulars better over time. In the mean time, Drew, keep it up.

Hope DC was all you hoped it would be. I note that the new Congress was sworn in and the world did not end. I good sign.
