Today marks the second anniversary of the Virginia Tech tragedy. As a Hokie alumnus, I remember the news like it was yesterday, the sadness and the surreality. I still hold pain and mourning for the losses of those 32 young and beautiful lives.
220 South, a Wahoo, has this absolutely touching story of his 4/16 experience.
I am thankful that Creigh Deeds (his statement here) and Terry McAuliffe (1, 2) were able to visit Virginia Tech today. Also, of note, Bob McDonnell offered this statement. If I missed any other candidate's thoughts or attendance on this day, I apologize. Please offer a link in the comment section.
Today, we are all Hokies. We are Virginia Tech.
