What is the air/speed velocity of a swallow carring a 5 lb. coconut?

Drew said...

Vince, what is the size/shape of the 5 lb. cocunut? That matters for air resistance.

What is the weather? Sunny? Rainy? Windy?

Is there a breeze? Is the swallow flying with or against the breeze?

The coconut is 5 lbs., and shaped very much like a coconut.

The weather is sunny and still, so you don't have to worry about a breeze.

Also--and I'm very disappointed to see that you have neglected the only question that really matters--it is a European swallow...

Sorry about the silence, guys, I've been quite busy with my freelance writing and race track work, that I've had to hustle since I lost my job in the economic downtrun, and well, that Stimulus package has done me oh, so well....not. Anyway, I'll be back with you guy over the course of the week. :)
