Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

This makes me cry a little inside, like my youth was robbed by artistic laziness.

Whoa! Hmm...after watching it all it looks like it was mostly the Robin Hood animators who "robbed" the other films. But I don't really know when they all came out. Maybe they just got in a hurry on that one movie? By the way I'm a huge fan of your Whiskey Tango Foxtrot posts.

I agree with Chad, and I IMDB'd it to check that all those other films came before Robin Hood (they did). Rather than let it ruin my childhood, I'm content to let it ruin Robin Hood. That movie gave us nothing except the song from Hamster Dance.

Good research, Jesse. Outside of our generations Disney movies (Lion King, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, etc.), the Robin Hood was my favorite growing up. So I do feel robbed. Sadness.

For what it's worth, Drew... Robin Hood was definitely one of my favorite Disney movie as a kid. And you know what? It's still good.

So they borrowed the templates. That doesn't change the story, the comedy, the adventure, the romance. Any of it. It's still a great and fun kids' movie (and in my opinion, holds up as a young adults' movie as well!).

Plus, the song "On, Wisconsin" is used in the fight scene. Sweetness. :-)

PS: I found it on YouTube. You can watch it in a series of 8 pieces, starting here.

the one with belle and the beast doing a copy of Cinderella was the hardest for me to take. a girl as good looking as belle deserved her own dance, dontcha think?

I completely agree Matt, which might be the only time I can say that. And for Drew, the story was Robin Hood. I'm sure they stole those templates from the rich and gave them to your poor child brain.
